Drafting and publication of a Quality Manual for implementation of Quality culture within the three target institutions

The Quality Manual integrates the university quality politics, general directives to be followed by the universities and describes the basic processes of the quality system at the universities.

The Quality Manual will incorporate some critical factors as:

• technical paper and organisational processes developed
• process map to pursue the activities of the Quality Unit developed

Drafting and publication of Quality Strategic Plans for three East African Universities

Two main parts are foreseen in this activity a Quality Strategic Plan for the Q-Units and another for at the University level.

Quality Strategic Plan of the university will include the necessary actions to implement and evaluated quality levels achieved by the universities and suggest when necessary improvement actions. We include criteria, indicators and standards that need to be achieved as well as the the methodologies to be followed.

The criteria, indicators and standards will be developed after special talks between the University management staff and the director of the Q-Units.

The Quality Strategic Plan for the Q-Units are

• mission and vision of the Quality Unit
• swot analysis
• strategic planning
